Aaaaand the development is done! \o/


"Et voilà le travail !", as we say in French language.


Here is a video preview for Last Neko, it will be probably the last video before the official release on itch!


Sooooo now for the good news!

The game is now done! It was only 12 days, but it was intense and sometimes painful! I still have 8 days to polish some small details and triple-check each detail of the game, chasing some hidden bugs!

  • Allow player to go back to main menu from the pause menu
  • Allow player to exitting game from the main menu.

What's up?

  • Fixed a bug where some bullets were still moving even in the Pause Menu.
  • Optimized global performance and revamped most of the game.
  • Slightly nerfed level 3.
  • Fixed some various bugs along the way.
  • Level design DONE!
  • Improved background for level 1.
  • Polished the HUD. (agressive blue no more!)
  • Made the ending music.
  • Made the ending.
  • Designed final boss and coded it too!
  • Enemies and bosses are now BEHIND their own bullets (purely visual, but the older versions didn't make any sense)
  • Lowered the amount of HP of boss level 5.



Added some tree shadows for the level 1!

During the remaining days, I will be able to polish the small details!

I'm tired and exhausted, so this is a short devlog. Just remember I worked solo and made everything from zero, in two weeks time! I'm pretty proud. As said before, this is a PYWY game, the main goal is to have something to show if I ever want to get hired up by a bigger company :) But don't get duped, I crafted this game with love and I hope you will enjoy it!

Pro-tip : if you want to beat the game... Never underestimate yourself. Self-confidence is the key. You'll understand!
